I ordered 2 chairs more than 2 weeks ago. Zero communication regarding my order until I posted here. Then they blamed the supplier, the courier company but never themselves. Eventually my order was delivered. In a broken dirty box wrapped in a filthy sack. The chairs are badly scratched. I want a refund. Under the CPA they have to refund me. But they've been dodging doing so.

Dear sirs

We Uk citizens and are currently in Spain and have been using Leroy Merlin for many years for our properties.

Although we have had a small amount of occasions necessary to return items, I have never experienced such a dreadful situation that way were burdened with today.

We purchased two ceiling fans from Ondara Denia. Our electrician came round to fit them.

I preassembled them before his arrival and noticed that one of them appeared to be not just faulty but previously used and fitted by another customer. There was damage to the ceiling bracket, the wiring harness was incomplete and with unsafe joins, and had been altered, The LED unit had been removed from the light assembly and was damaged on its rear. This was clearly an item that had been fitted (badly) for use in store, and then re-packaged to sell again, or had been returned by a customer, and it had either been packed by them, and returned, and then never checked by a member of your staff, or it had been returned, incomplete and the staff just re-packed it and sold it as new.

I asked to speak to the manager, and after multiple attempts, a person named Guillermo came up and was quite insistent that the only thing they would do was to change the unit. I had to make an additional trip of one hour to bring the unit back, I had to pay the electrician not only to install the fan but to remove it as he could not get it working, and I will have to pay him again to refit the item that was given to us as a replacement.

The gentleman I spoke to was quite insistent that they would offer no compensation, either for my time, expense, or trouble, and said they had no responsibility to do anything about it. I explained that it was quite clear that they were selling an item that had previously been used by a customer, and that it had been resolved after having been re-packed with no care of the next customers needs or safety. I was insistent that he should make amends and he was quite rude and said "you can take the broken one back with you or you can take a replacement. This is now finished." He just walked off.

I asked to take a photo of his identity badge and he refused and simply wrote his name down on a piece of paper.

You will understand how shocked I am at this dreadful way that your staff are being trained to treat customers.

Leroy Merlin has been developed into a very successful and wide, ranging business offering an excellent range of goods. I fear with treatment like this that your customers will feel uninclined to continue to patronise your stores.

I look forward to some sort of response, or at least a telephone call to discuss the matter further.

Really bad service, failed delivery by Leroy Merlin

Hice un pedido valorado en 431,78 el 7 de marzo de 2024 para ser entregado el 13 de marzo. Recibí 2 correos electrónicos confirmando que la entrega se realizaría, recibí 2 llamadas telefónicas confirmando que la entrega se realizaría antes de las 21:00 horas de ese día.

No llegó. Al comprobar el estado del pedido al día siguiente decía "pedido cancelado". No cancelé el pedido, así que completé un formulario en línea y tuve que esperar 24 horas para recibir una respuesta. La respuesta decía que el pedido cancelado recibirá un reembolso en 72 horas.

¡Quiero los productos, no un reembolso ya que mi constructor está esperando! Llamé a atención al cliente y fue inútil. Me dio otro número y no pudieron ayudar. Me pidieron que llamara a la tienda.

Nadie parecía poder restablecer el pedido y hacerme llegar el producto. Peor que inútil, muchas palabras y ninguna acción ni cuidado para resolver.

I placed an order valued 431.78 on 7 march 2024 to be delivered on 13 march. I received 2 emails confirming the delivery would take place, I received 2 telephone calls confirming it would be delivered by 21.00 that day. It did not arrive.

When checking the order status the next day it said "order cancelled". I did not cancel the order so I completed a form online and had to wait 24 hours for a response. The response said order cancelled you will get a refund in 72 hours. I want the goods not a refund as my builder is waiting!!!

I called customer service and he was useless. He gave me another number and they took could not help. They asked me to call the store.

Nobody appeared to be able to restore the order and get the product to me. Worse than useless, lots of words and no actions or care to resolve

I cannot find a directors number or email for Leroy Merlin they make it difficult to make contact with them. I have received horrific injuries I am left with scars both physically & mentally.

Caused by one of their shower screens that exploded as I took it out of the packaging.

They say that it was resolved because they gave me a refund over the phone. I’m at a loss of what to do obviously someone higher up needs to know about this.

Hi I had a terrible accident involving one of your SenSea shower screens it broke as I picked it up out of the packaging & went into shards of glass it inflicted horrific injuries to my arm i had over 50 stitches & a severed tendon to my thumb. Leroy Merlin gave me a refund & rightly so but this has put me out of action for months and I have to have physio everyday. Leroy Merlin in Almeria do not want to deal with me and want to brush it under the carpet!! Out of courtesy can you relay to a managing director please I cannot find a contact for Almeria

Bought a table and chair online. Salivary was supposed to happen on 15th, never arrived. Wasted several hours with their customer reps. They do a reorder for the 21st. Never arrived. Wasted several hours with their customer reps. Now they tell me that they can not process a refund as there are open inquiries (yeah, done by me)... This is against EU legislation for online shopping.

Ayer, tras realizar una compra importante en su centro de Alcorcón, Madrid, España, del que soy cliente desde hace muchos años, fui objeto de un robo en el parking de su centro comercial, mientras introducía en mi vehículo las compras realizadas en su negocio

Allí nadie se hace responsable, y me parece vergonzoso que no tengan ustedes a nadie que vele por sus clientes cuando salimos de nuestras compras

Si tienen seguridad, pero sólo dentro dentro por si alguien les roba a ustedes, pero se olvidan de nosotros, sus clientes y de unas mínimas condiciones de seguridad que bien se podrían llevar a cabo con otro vigilante en su aparcamiento, cosa que además disuaría a posibles ladrones

Cuando digo su aparcamiento, me refiero a que es una zona delimitada para uso exclusivo de ustedes, (no se comparte con otras tiendas) y de los clientes que allí acudimos a realizar nuestras compras. Es un recinto vallado en el que hasta no hace mucho tiempo, pusieron ustedes una barrera para entrar.

Es un recinto en el que todos los años, en verano, montan Uds una gran carpa con material de verano.

También posee una entrada lateral que ustedes cierran cuando la tienda permanece cerrada.

Repito que es un parking de acceso exclusivo a su centro y no se comparte con ninguna tienda más

Por eso digo que es su aparcamiento

A mí me robaron el bolso con toda mi documentación, objetos personales, tarjeta bancaria ( que pude anular) dinero en efectivo y las dos llaves de mi vehículo, que en ese momento llevaba para recargar las pilas

Me quedé en el parking, con sólo un teléfono y ninguna ayuda

Ahora me encuentro sin coche, sin el que estaré unos veintitantos días y que me supondrán un coste importante en vehículo de alquiler, así como el coste de ambas llaves y la perdida de documentación que deberé volver a tramitar, por no contar con las fotos y demás objetos personales que nunca recuperaré

Y todo porque Uds no se han molestado en pensar en la seguridad de sus clientes a la hora de cargar en nuestros vehículos ubicados en SU PARKING, lo comprado en su centro

Escribo hoy y no ayer, porque hoy por fin he podido volver a mi casa

Necesito respuestas, necesito que se impliquen, esto no debería haber pasado

We brought a boiler from Leyroy Merlin in March so it is still under warranty We have had an engineer out twice and he says it is not installed correctly We also had an engineer from the fas company renew all the regulators and non returnable valves and a new tap The boiler still comes up with E25 error After at least 4 times going into store and being promised a call still nothing. WHY If this does not get resolved we require a refund as thus boiler is not fit for use and cost us over a thousand euros

Poor customer service

I went into leroy merlin to ask what the measurement was for a king size mattress, I was told 180x200 so I ordered it .it arrived a week later when put on the bed too big, because 180x200 is a super king, now this is where my problems start. I found a correct size from the same company,Bezen 150x200 pocket sprung Paris Viscoe, 368.00, that's when you said I had to repack it the same way (it was machine pack).

Then you said ship it back at my cost, it was your mistake!! I am virtually bed bound if you do decide to send the one I want, please give me a days notice so I can get some help in.

I went into leroy merlin to find out the sizes of beds, I asked for king size and was told 180x200. I went home and ordered it because only internet orders. It arrived we put it on the bed to big, it was the size for super king. King size is 150x200. I would like to return this one and order, Bezen Pocket Sprung Mattress paris Viscoe 150x200 368.00 please help this has taken me 4 hours and 7 minutes any money differance I will come in and buy loads of bed linen. Unprofessionalism at every level

I spent over 1000 euros in materials thinking that they are professionals to gather all the materials and deliver them in one piece. Wrong. They came in pieces in more than 12 deliveries. Some were broken and they have to redeliver. They indicated that the materials will be received in 3 days and some important that I need to get some work done are still not delivered for more than 3 weeks now. I called to cancel and no one replays. I sent 5 emails and non one answers. Do not order from these scammers as they will leave you high and dry. This review is for leroy merlin portugal

14th Nov 23 I purchased 2 x rugs in store with the Black Friday sale for delivery as they apparently didnt have them in store promised a delivery by 29th Nov phoned everyday after to be promised a call back, finally received a call on the 18th Dec to say no stock went into store same product different code same full price item looked the same and I had to pay full amount -15 percent, nearly £200 more absolute joke of a company

Bought an item via Learoy & never delivered.

I bought a Shed from Habitat et Jardin via Learoy-Merlin, and it has not been delivered anywhere close to the dates stated.

And my Club Learoy-Merlin account cannot be accessed anymore, by myself.

Why? Because I wanted to cancel the Shed order!

Learoy is not to be trusted. Neither is Habitat et Jardin.

They have fobbed me off with delivery statements, while nothing is happening.

The Track My Order, is with Seur, and they state there is no record of any such delivery in operation.

I paid with PayPal. I'm trying to cancel the order.

Learoy & Habitat are not to be trusted!
